VISION & HEARING SCREENINGS:
Live Oak parent & Physician’s Assistant, Ashley Baker, will be conducting vision and hearing screenings this Wednesday, January25th and next Wednesday Feb. 1st from 8:15 am – 12:15 pm. Screenings will be conducted for all students in JK, G1, G3, & G5, as well as all students in any grade who are new to Live Oak this year. Logic and Rhetoric students can also be tested upon request. If you would like to request a screening for your L/R student, please email us at office@liveoakclassical.com.

COAT DRIVE:
Grammar 1 is currently conducting it’s annual coat & blanket drive. This House competition will be ongoing until Monday, January 30th. Please place items in a sack and mark with House name and place in designated area in both Grammar & L/R campuses.
COSTUME CLOSET:
If you need to borrow a costume from the costume closet for History Faire or an upcoming play, YOU MUST SIGN IT OUT IN THE OFFICE. We love having costumes for students to borrow, but in the past we have had them borrowed and sometimes not returned. Please sign any costume out in the Grammar School Office. Thanks!
BOX TOPS CLASSROOM CONTEST:
Collection time for the Box Tops, Labels for Education, and Community Coffee UPC labels begins Thursday, January 26 and ends Tuesday, February 21. Grammar students should bring labels and Box Tops to their core teacher’s classroom. Logic/Rhetoric students should place theirs in the appropriate grade-level containers in the office. The money and points raised through this effort are used to buy educational materials and improvements for Live Oak. A flyer with more information will be sent home with your student.
State Champions!
Congratulations to our Falcon Football team for winning the TCAL State Championship in 6-man football on Saturday, November 26th. Our Falcons went undefeated this season. Way to go Falcons!
